FONDAZIONE MODENA ARTI VISIVE, MODENA
From 2017 to 2020, I served as Director General of Fondazione Modena Arti Visive (FMAV) in Italy. As its founding director, I oversaw the merger of three cultural institutions — Galleria Civica di Modena, Fondazione Fotografia Modena, and Museo della Figurina — integrating their administration, finances, staff, buildings, programs, and collections into a single, unified organisation. This remains my most significant achievement in business development to date. In 2023, FMAV was integrated into Fondazione AGO as part of a broader restructuring aimed at institutional transformation and development.
Fondazione Modena Arti Visive promoted the development of visual culture through a dynamic program of exhibitions, educational initiatives, residencies, and a School of Advanced Studies. A key aspect of its mission was to serve as a reference point for fostering dialogue and interaction between the arts, science, and technology.
